About WFC

Dear Healthcare Professional Colleague:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you for your interest in the ACHE Western Florida Chapter (WFC). Our WFC Board is a group of extremely dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to adding value to the communities we are privileged to serve. Mr. James Talano, FACHE, Immediate Past President, led the Chapter through a fantastic year in 2015; we are very pleased with the many robust programs that we offered to our members. We will continue to offer stimulating and exciting educational, mentoring and networking opportunities, at different locations throughout Western Florida. Our Chapter strives to offer opportunities for healthcare professionals at all points in their careers, from mentoring student associates, networking for early careerists, forums for senior executives, and Category 1 education for those achieving and maintaining Fellow status.

The Florida counties that comprise this chapter are Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Levy, Manatee, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Sarasota, and Sumter. We encourage all ACHE affiliates in these counties to participate actively with the WFC and to continue their professional growth by advancement within the College.

Our geographic area is extremely large and our goal is to offer WFC sponsored programs and activities throughout Western Florida. We strongly encourage and support the participation of healthcare executives and healthcare facilities at the local level. Please consider sponsoring an event or participating in chapter activities, such as our volunteer committees . We are always looking for mentors, guest speakers and panel members for our programs and activities. Plan on meeting and networking with your colleagues and counterparts by attending a WFC sponsored event this year!

We have a strong chapter, with over 700 members, and by working together we will have another great year! Please let us know how we can be of service to you.

Sincerely yours,

Kelly Batista, WFC President &
Kevin DiLallo, ACHE Regent for Northern/Western Florida
